- Mark Whitaker: Can you just help us understand a little bit of your background because it's so inspiring. How do you end up in this incredible career of public service? And maybe you could just walk through a couple of these key things.

- How do you contrast the leadership of President Clinton, President Obama, and President Biden? All three empowered the individuals whom they appointed to execute their respective visions. How do you look at them as a leader yourself?

- We have to learn how to disagree and how it relates to this environment. I draw inspiration from my family. Do we need more dialogue, more communication? Is there a different construct in our educational system? Are there bridges that we need to build?

- There are different forces in Washington. Political landscape is not synonymous with governance. We fight for resources. Let's take online child sexual exploitation and abuse. It's not that easy. And there are a lot of competing priorities.
